The Sidekick has had a few more bad owies. Including this one (photo taken a couple of days later.) He tripped over J's foot and hit his eye on his little chair. He did this over a month ago and still has a red scar from it. I tried to put scar cream on it but I think he's going to have it for the rest of his life now. Hopefully his eyebrow will cover it up.
While I was in the kitchen cooking dinner a few weeks ago I heard a thud followed by crying. Evidently the Sidekick climbed on the back of the couch and fell off onto the hardwood floor. He had the biggest goose egg I've ever seen. It scared me how quickly it swelled up! I tried to hold him down to ice his goose egg but he fought me and screamed. Aye, yay, aye. Swelling went down the following day. Can't find the photo from the second day after the accident but here's one from several days later where you can see the bruise it left.
