Happy fall everyone. We made some caramel apples this week with friends to celebrate the season. I brought a can of pumpkin back from the US and look forward to pumpkin bread too. (A big can of pumpkin pie filling is going for $8-$9 US here at one of the stores where sometimes I buy imported goods. I haven't found plain canned pumpkin here.)
I finally finished my autumn wreath--it only took me two months. (Styrofoam wreaths are not found as easily here as in the US either.) I tried using pipe insulator, duct-taped into a circle, as my wreath base but it wasn't strong enough. Don't believe those photos on Pinterest.
I'll get a little use out of my wreath before the Christmas decorations get busted out this year. I'm already listening to Christmas music, so bring on the season.
If you are interested in the tutorial,
here's the idea. I didn't want mine so tight, so I used bigger circles (I traced cds for my circles) and tried to not pin them so tightly together.
